Our proposed project first uses ultrasonic sensors to detect obstacles ahead using ultrasonic waves. This arduino smart blind stick project requires two separate circuits. The blind stick is integrated with ultrasonic sensor along with light and water sensing. Through this the blind person can aware about the obstacles in front of him. The device is designed with an intention to sort out common issues faced by the blind people while using traditional sticks.

But with smart blind stick it will help them to get notification on the obstacle by a sound generated by buzzer. The other is a small remote rf transmitter circuit which will be used to locate the main circuit. On sensing obstacles the sensor passes this data to the microcontroller.
